Honda Part-Time Apprentice Technician

				Overview:

Repair vehicles in an efficient and ethical manner under the supervision of a Flat-Rate Technician and/or Shop Foreman.

Responsibilities:

* Read and understand customer complaints; diagnose and advise findings; complete all authorized repairs in accordance with manufacturer and company policy; return warranty parts to parts dept and road test vehicles as needed to verify completion of repairs.

* Properly document all repairs using both internet-based tools and physical Repair Order documentation as instructed per department requirements.

* Learn how to utilize computer to remain up to date on manufacturer recalls and/or technical data.

* Complete training required set by the manager.

* Maintain a clean and neat work area. Perform daily inspections of your work area.

* Stay compliant with all safety and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications:

* Valid drivers license 

* High School Diploma

* 1-2 years' experience in a customer service orientated environment preferred

* Can adapt and embrace change with an internal and external customer centric mindset

* Act as an advocate for teammates and have a strong commitment to technology advancement

* Possesses effective communication skills: oral, written, listening.

* Works well with customers, promotes a positive image of the company, strives to solve issues raised by customers.
