Currently, we are seeking a Supply Chain Manager with at least 4 years of experience, based in Southern California. Responsibilities:

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will manage strategic components and negotiate contracts directly with vendors.  You will also strategically seek out diverse suppliers and obtain cost savings to meet the supply and service needs of the business.

* Develop focused sourcing strategies by identifying opportunities, defining current processes, designing new process, identifying benchmark/metrics, and making recommendations for improvements. 
* manage key component cost database as well as partner with Engineering and NPI teams on new part sourcing plan by issuing RFQ's, organizing supplier roadmap updates, and working with Supply Chain team to understand contract manufacturers sourcing base 
* Manage and monitor component suppliers by setting goals and objectives and measuring achievements such as cost, delivery, and quality
* Assess suppliers against their contractual commitments and develop performance improvement plans for those not meeting commitments
* Partner with NPI team to monitor component PCN and EOL to avoid supply interruption and coordinate qualification efforts with cross-functional teams for timely actions 
* Develop and manage cost savings programs - work with Planning and Supply Chain teams on cost implementation schedule and manage part source changes to minimize E&O exposure
* Periodically collect industry insights for component roadmap

Qualifications:

Must Haves

* 4+ years of experience specific to Commodity/Supply Chain Management
* Extensive knowledge of goods and services in the Electronics space
* Experience driving a plan to bring resolution to differing opinions, reaching out across functional boundaries to drive collaboration, and sharing credit in a team environment
* Experience working cross-functionally within and out of the organization 
* Knowledge of RFI, RFQ, RFP process/requirements
* Demonstrated negotiation and analytical skills
* Ability to mange and develop supplier relationships
* Expert project management skills
* Knowledge of contracts and financial administration 
* Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments 
* Proficiency with Excel, MRP Tools (Oracle, SAP), and PLM Tools (Arena, Agile)
* Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Supply Chain, etc

Strong Pluses

* Experience with Radio Modules, Batteries, Electrical part sourcing
* APICS or Six Sigma certification
