    About This Role:

    The Research Associate works directly with a team of analysts who research, write, and publish reports to help make leaders successful in their roles. This role will work with digital business strategy analysts and application development and delivery analysts covering markets such as online commerce, video strategies and technology, and global consulting services.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage research projects. Working with assigned analysts, formulate a project plan, establish a check-in process, coordinate research, and manage a schedule.
    • Assist analysts with primary and secondary research for published reports, including telephone interviews, online surveys, and internal and third-party data.
    • Support analyst presentations with well-formatted charts, appropriate callouts, meaningful titles, and a sequence of slides that tell a story.
    • Maintain the report production schedule, from inception through publication.
    • Learn and be responsible for quantitative work with Forrester’s data sets.
    • Coordinate the use of social media platforms (e.g., blogs, Twitter, online community) in the research and publishing process.

    Qualifications

    • A./B.S. with a strong academic record. All undergraduate majors are welcome to apply; any quantitative or statistics interest is a major plus.
    • One to two years of varied undergraduate or postgraduate work experience.
    • A working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
    • Attention to detail and the ability to build reusable resources like survey questions and formatted data outputs.
    • A passion for learning about technology.
