Responsibilities: A wound care nurse in this institution will deliver nursing care to patients of varying age groups by utilizing the nursing process and nursing practice standards. The nurse will maintain competency and application of the scientific knowledge necessary to meet patient needs. They will demonstrate through organizational skills, the ability to provide ease in flow of work. The nurse is knowledgeable and supportive of the hospital, department and nursing unit philosophies. Qualifications: Experience: * Minimum of two years experience as a RN in an acute care facility. Education: * BSN required Licensure and Certifications: * RN * BLS * Certified Ostomy Care Nurse (COCN) or Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) or Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) within 24 months of hire.
