We are looking for a Working Student to support our team in Bochum. This role is ideal for students who enjoy organizing information, creating documentation, producing educational content, and supporting technical teams with communication and knowledge-sharing activities. You will work closely with engineers and technical experts to create documentation, training materials, feature videos, lessons learned content, and other resources that help improve knowledge transfer and communication within the organization. The position provides valuable exposure to innovative technologies used in e-mobility applications, battery testing systems, charging technology test systems, measurement equipment, and power electronics. Responsibilities: Documentation & Knowledge Management * Create, update, and maintain technical documentation and internal resources. * Support the development of user guides, instructions, and best-practice documents. * Help document lessons learned and technical knowledge for future reference. * Organize and maintain documentation repositories and knowledge-sharing platforms. Training & Educational Content * Create feature videos, tutorials, and learning materials. * Support the development of technical training content. * Work with subject matter experts to convert technical information into easy-to-understand content. * Assist in improving the accessibility and usability of learning resources. Technical Communication * Collaborate with engineers to understand products, applications, and workflows. * Support internal communication initiatives and information-sharing activities. * Help ensure documentation is accurate, clear, and professionally presented. * Assist with technical presentations and supporting materials. AI & Process Improvement Support * Explore and leverage AI tools to improve documentation and content creation processes. * Assist with content automation and knowledge-management initiatives. * Support ongoing efforts to streamline communication and information management. Administrative Support * Support project-related administrative activities. * Help coordinate documentation reviews and content updates. * Assist with team organization and operational tasks as needed. Qualifications: Required * Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, Business, Communications, Information Management, Marketing, or a related field. * Excellent German and English language skills. * Strong written communication and organizational skills. * Interest in technology and technical products. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. * Eagerness to learn and collaborate with technical teams. Preferred * Experience creating documentation, presentations, tutorials, videos, or educational content. * Interest in power electronics, e-mobility, battery technologies, charging systems, or test and measurement equipment. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office and content creation tools. * Experience with AI tools or knowledge-management platforms. * Basic technical understanding of engineering concepts. Location & Availability Please note that this is an on-site position based in Bochum, Germany, and cannot be performed remotely. Applicants should be located within reasonable commuting distance of Bochum or be willing to relocate to the area. To ensure a meaningful onboarding and contribution period, applicants should have at least 12 months of remaining availability in their studies and be able to work throughout that period.
