Responsibilities:
Job SummaryThe Software Product Owner is accountable for the strategic direction, governance, and overall value realization of a core enterprise platform, driving platform success and continuous optimization. The position ensures technical health, financial performance, and stakeholder alignment while driving roadmap execution, change management, and delivery of measurable business outcomes.Essential FunctionsGovernance and Change Management
* Lead governance processes, including prioritization of enhancements, upgrades, and releases.
* Establish and enforce technical and application change management standards, ensuring compliance with documentation and audit requirements.
* Develop and execute communication strategies for platform changes and releases.
* Ensure training materials and documentation support adoption and user engagement.
* Manage vendor relationships and integrate external roadmap strategies into HonorHealth's platform evolution.
Release & Optimization Management
* Oversee end-to-end release lifecycle: scoping, configuration, testing, deployment and communication.
* Drive optimization initiatives, including calendar management, functional configuration, and integration development.
* Ensure support team compliance with change documentation standards (e.g., ServiceNow).
Performance Management and Value Realization
* Own platform budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization strategies.
* Drive the development of, and monitor, benefit realization and ROI metrics for
* platform investments.
* Govern reporting frameworks, analytics hubs, and dashboards to measure performance.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize platform value.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Influence senior stakeholders and lead governance committees to ensure
* alignment with organizational priorities.
* Serve as the primary liaison between business units, IT teams, and external
* vendors.
* Communicate platform strategy, performance, and roadmap updates to executive leadership.
Technical Health
* Ensure platform stability, scalability, and security compliance.
* Monitor and address technical debt and performance issues proactively.
* Oversee integration development and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
* Conduct risk assessments for upgrades, releases, and integrations.
* Develop and manage platform support structure and resource requirements.
Analytics, Reporting & Capacity Planning
* Govern reporting frameworks, discovery boards, and analytics hubs.
* Lead staffing and capacity planning for platform-related initiatives.
* Monitor benefit realization and ROI metrics for platform investments.
Education
* Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, or related field. - Required
* Master's degree in business administration or technology management. - Preferred
Experience
* Minimum 3 years of experience in platform management or enterprise systems ownership. - Required
* Proven track record in product ownership, release management, and vendor governance. Preferred
License and Certifications 
* Certification in relevant platform- Preferred
