Overview: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing basic welding tasks, primarily focusing on repairing parts with defects. This position supports production operations and plays a role in supporting production and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. * Good Attendance Bonus - Earn up to an extra 50 hours/year! * 8 paid holidays per year * 2 weeks paid vacation after one year * Medical/dental packages - 1 employer sponsored pkg at 75% savings * 401k program after one year employment * Prescription safety eyewear paid by company * Reimbursement for steel toe shoes Salary Range: $52k/yr - $58k/yr Responsibilities: * Perform TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and other metals as required * Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine specifications * Operate welding equipment and hand tools safely and effectively * Inspect completed welds to ensure structural soundness and quality * Clean and prepare workpieces using grinders, wire brushes, or chemical solutions * Assist in the setup of welding equipment and workstations * Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times * Maintain a clean and organized work area * Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Strong knowledge of welding techniques and tools * Attention to detail * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods * Prior welding experience required
