Responsibilities:
Mead & Hunt is a Top 100 national engineering/architecture consulting firm with a growing water/wastewater practice. As a result, we have a full-time position available for a water/wastewater project manager/engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities include serving as the project manager for civil/environmental water and wastewater projects; overseeing design as well as performing technical design tasks; drafting proposals with scope and pricing; reviewing client billings; mentoring and providing technical guidance to staff; serving as a client manager. Travel will be required.
The successful candidate must have all of the following:
* A bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil, environmental or related engineering from an accredited college or university
* At least five years of relevant experience
* PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in additional states
The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following:
* Designing water and wastewater projects, with specialization in one or more of the following project types:
*
* Large diameter pipelines
* Water/wastewater treatment
* Pump stations
* Effluent disposal and biosolids
* Stormwater
* Project management (scope, schedule and budget)
* Mentoring and providing technical guidance to staff
* Client management for municipal and county governments
