Responsibilities: The Food Service Worker accurately and efficiently prepares a variety of food items in accordance with assigned work instructions and menus. This position also utilizes a variety of food preparation utensils and machines in preparing food. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities * Verify accurate counts of products and supplies * Maintain proper rotation of ingredients and refrigerated/frozen food items * Load and unload trucks as necessary. * May be assigned other tasks associated with the warehouse operation and/or kitchen as needed * Stocks and organizes the warehouse. * Follows sanitation and safety guidelines. * Supervise and Direct Inmate Labor * Order Paper, Cleaning, tools, & Food products based on menus * Ensure delivery Vehicles are inspected * Oversee and Manage Drivers duties * Conduct daily and weekly inspections of areas * Conduct Inmate and staff training * Tool Control * Schedule Preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment * Support all deliveries to kitchens and orders * Reconcile weekly usage report * Other duties as determined by the needs of the business Qualifications: * High school diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age. * 1 year or more experience in a food service role. * Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is a plus. * ServSafe Food Handler certification is preferred. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. * Ability to stand for long periods of time. * Experience with safety procedures as typical in a cafeteria or food service environment.
