Overview:
CORT Party Rental is hiring for a Warehouse Supervisor!
Our Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the people and processes involved at every stage of order fulfillment. This position oversees our General Warehouse team. Sitting and standing forklift experience is required for this position.
Pay: $25-$28 / hour depending on experience
Schedule: Schedule is typically Monday through Friday with some weekends as business requires. Hours will vary based on business demands.
Responsibilities:
* Operate standing forklift to move party rental equipment efficiently within the warehouse.
* Involved in all aspects of order fulfillment, from cleaning and repairing product to prepping orders and loading and unloading vehicles.
* Run daily reports for staff and set the workflow for the day.
* Assist and lead the team in Customer Pickup, providing an exceptional customer experience.
* Maintain inventory control of general warehouse items and update Operations Manager on shortages.
* Work with repair department to communicate needs or shortages.
* Communicate and delegate duties to warehouse team and hold accountable when needed.
* Work with Sales team with order questions and overbookings.
* Work with Inventory and QC on overbookings, damages, and missing equipment. Facilitates and participates in cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
* Maintain and develop current warehouse practices. Look for opportunities to maximize flow and efficiency through layout, process, and inventory adjustments.
Qualifications:
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* 2 years previous warehouse lead or supervisor experience.
* Proficient in operating standup electric forklifts.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
* Excellent communication skills; proficient in the English language.
* Must have reliable transportation.
* Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
* Must pass drug screens (does not include THC) as a condition of employment. CORT also participates in the E-Verify program.
