The Warehouse Supervisor will manage the daily operations of all material movements including shipping, receiving and order picking while ensuring the highest use and most efficient use of staff, equipment and other resources. You report to the Sr. Production Manager.

Responsibilities:

* You will train the stockroom team to service to Manufacturing Operations while maintaining inventory accuracy. Support proper allocation of resources among operations and project activities.
* Safeguard your team's investment in inventory and protect against inventory obsolescence. Maintain Inventory Cycle Count accuracy >96%
* Develop and implement important policies related to material receiving, storing, issuing, and replenishment, to meet our goals.
* You will promote process improvements to keep pace with growing material volume while balancing stockroom space constraints. Lead a team of warehouse associates to meet the challenges of a manufacturing environment.
* Oversee the stockroom's picking, kitting, cycle counting, location auditing and inventory control procedures to maintain accuracy and assure compliance with audit requirements.
* Prepare and implement departmental budget, monitors expenses and approve purchases of supplies and equipment.
* Determine value added activities to create solutions that improve processes and methods in manufacturing.
* Define measurable targets for continuous improvement of processes and define strategies to attain desired goals.
* Responsible for training, communication, and implementation of processes in the organization. Plan, organize training for process improvement programs throughout the organization.
* Follow Safety, Health, Environment, and Hazardous Waste Rules and Responsibilities.
* Other projects and responsibilities may be added at our discretion.
* Develop and run daily SQDC BOARD - daily management skills.
* Coordinate with Production manager for delivery of required parts.
* Coordinate with Kingston/Chalfont facility on daily parts transfers.
* Forklift certified, able to pass, and maintain crane certification.
* Great inter-departmental skills.

Qualifications:

Knowledge:

* High school diploma required.
* 5 years' experience in a heavy manufacturing environment capital mobile equipment, Managing Internal Material Flows, Inventory Control, Warehousing, Shipping, Receiving, Parts Pulling for Production and leading Lean projects/Kaizen events, and developing / implementing industry best practices.
* Lean or Six Sigma experience Knowledge.

Experience:

* You will define critical project criteria to ensure project completion based on importance and need.
* You will gain the assistance of others when assigning work.
* Understanding of financial principles
* Proficient in Microsoft.
* You must be self-guided, process-driven and extremely good at working in a team environment.
* Can understand the impact of process flow throughout the production process (vendors, manufacturing, office) while implementing the solutions to identify discrepancies.
