Join our team and be responsible for a healthier America! #WhereYOUMatter Responsibilities: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision as well as active involvement of the receiving, shipping, and inventory control of the distribution facility. The role includes working alongside and supervising the warehouse staff as well as the workload of the distribution, storage, and handling of medical supplies and equipment. This includes (but is not limited to) disposables, pre-hospital supplies, respiratory items, pharmaceuticals, AED and CPR equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Receiving: Supervises a team of receiving associates by establishing priorities and providing guidance for issue resolution. Works with the Sarnova purchasing team to resolve receiving discrepancies. Ensures all items are received in and put away in designated locations within a 24 hour window from receipt. Assists as needed with the unloading, staging, processing, and put away of inbound inventory and receiving. This includes assisting with inbound data entry, scanning, labeling, sorting, accuracy assurance, and reporting damage. * Inventory: Supervision of employees and assisting when needed to perform stock rotation, expiration date and recall checks, damaged product minimization, stock adjustments, serial and lot number checks, cycle counting and full physical inventory processing as needed. * Shipping: Assists as needed and/or directs receiving associates to assist with order fulfillment, including picking, packing, quality checks, customer requests and change orders, and shipping of daily orders via small package carrier and LTL/TL shipments. * Communication: Encourage, advise, monitor, mentor, and review warehouse associates to ensure expectations and personal growth and goals are met and a positive working experience is attained. * Environment: Develop, maintain, and administer safety, organization, and cleanliness standards for working areas, building and equipment. * Supervision of Inbound and Inventory operations : Coordinate efforts and staff time management to troubleshoot issues and ensure accuracy and completeness of daily inbound processes and volume. * Compliance: Ensure compliance with all DEA, FDA, OSHA, and State Boards' of Pharmacy regulations as well as corporate and warehouse policies, including current and new federal, state and local compliance procedures. * Other: Requests by the Operations Manager or Senior Leadership not previously covered herein. Skills/Experience Required: * A strong sense of urgency, focus, and time management as well as demonstrate positive attitude behavior and strong work dedication. * High School degree or equivalent and 3-5 years of experience working in a warehouse operation with at least 2 years of verifiable full time supervisory experience. Managerial experience with a prescription drug wholesaler distributor is preferred. 2 or 4 year degree a plus. * May be required to maintain certain state certifications. * Ability to work in a fast paced warehouse environment. * Supervision, conflict, and time management skills to effectively train, advise, and mentor personnel, including direct, complete, and actionable positive and corrective feedback to staff. * Computer skills required, including knowledge of MS Office, FedEx/UPS software, Internet and web based software programs. Knowledge of Manhattan Scale and Great Plains is a plus. * Must be familiar and capable of driving or handling most material handling equipment, including forklifts, stock pickers, electric and standard pallet jacks. * Ability to clearly and effectively communicate and follow up through verbal, written, and electronic means. * Ability to clearly write routine reports and correspondence. * Ability to clearly read and interpret documents including (but not limited to) safety rules, corporate policies and procedures, operational and maintenance instructions, outside regulations, and electronic correspondence. Physical Requirements: * Work is performed in a warehouse environment that may include sections that are not climate controlled. * While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand or walk 85-90% of the time and sit 10-15%. * Ability to critically think and analyze problems and issues. * Ability to climb ladders up to 15 feet. * Ability to hear and be cognizant of self and others in a warehouse environment that may include moderate noise from machines, equipment, and outside traffic. * May engage in some repetitive motion. * May engage in frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers. * Work is performed in a warehouse environment that may include sections that are not climate controlled. * While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand or walk 85-90% of the time and sit 10-15%. * Ability to critically think and analyze problems and issues. * Ability to climb ladders up to 15 feet. * Ability to hear and be cognizant of self and others in a warehouse environment that may include moderate noise from machines, equipment, and outside traffic. * May engage in some repetitive motion. * May engage in frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers.
