Overview: The Mental Health Technician applies their mental health knowledge, clerical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to support Mental Health Clinicians and Program Managers in achieving program goals. They assist in providing mental health services, such as assessments, crisis intervention, and treatment planning, under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals. Additionally, they perform administrative tasks, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Responsibilities: * Assist in managing and organizing mental health clinical documentation and records, including filing and pulling documents as needed. * Support electronic data input and data gathering as needed. * Assist with clerical and organizational aspects of mental health program components. * Assist with continuity of care and discharge planning. * Attend all required program meetings. Qualifications: Education * Bachelor in Science, Sociology or Related Field * BA/ BS Experience * One (1) to three (3) years of mental health experience within a correctional/detention facility
