Responsibilities: This Union position is located at the NASA/White Sands Test Facility in Las Cruces NM. We offer a competitive wage, pension plan, leave/health benefits, and 401K. We are looking to hire the right person in the right place! Consider joining our team. $22.83 hourly, with an additional $3.26 COLA for all hours worked. The Warehouse Technician C will receive, stock, and handle materials according to White Sands Test Facility policies and procedures, applying working knowledge of warehouse operations and activities. Qualifications: Essential Duties & Job Functions: * Offloading, logging, receiving, stocking, inventories, issuing, shipping, transportation functions, make deliveries to requisitioners within the priority timeframe, package tracking, requisitioning, and off-site support as needed. * Operate forklifts to perform off-loading, shipping, and transportations functions. * Establish and maintain formal records of accountability through the use of applicable business systems. * Assist in new commodities accountability and verification prior to stocking. * Verify proper counts and locations of stocked material items. * Work according to safety regulations and use all cargo restraint and personal protective equipment that is required. * Properly handle K-bottle for site usage and inventory accounting. * Assist in property or stock inventories. * Participates in all safety awareness for the others who share the same work environment. * Performs other duties as assigned in support of the Facilities/Logistics department.
