Responsibilities:

* Enforces operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current. 
* Assists in reconciling of requisitions and system inventories. 
* Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment. 
* Coordinates salvage of damaged or used material. 
* Participates in planning personnel safety and protection activities. 
* Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two or more years warehouse operations and inventory control.  Experience with proprietary inventory software.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before employees.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must qualify for licensing with the West Virginia Racing Commission.  Must pass an OSHA certification class for forklift operator, have experience utilizing hand jacks and other warehouse equipment.  Must possess a valid driver's license for the state in which you reside.  In addition to the pre-employment background check, this position will be subject to periodic checks of your driving record in order to determine your continued suitability to drive company and/or patron vehicles.
