Responsibilities:

* Design and execute a growth‑focused strategy for the master P&C program-including program design, vendor oversight, compliance, marketing, adoption goals, and premium allocation-for third‑party and RPM‑owned properties.
* Design and execute a growth‑focused strategy for resident insurance products (e.g., renters' liability, contents), covering program design, vendor oversight, compliance, marketing campaigns, adoption targets, and profitability metrics.
* Administer and support the placement of alternative P&C lines tailored to specific business objectives.
* Oversee the captive insurer, including governance, reinsurance purchasing, capital adequacy, regulatory filings, and reporting.
* Provide coverage advocacy, large‑loss reviews, and carrier negotiations in close coordination with the Vice President of Risk Management for claims under the master program.
* Identify and evaluate growth initiatives that expand or create revenue streams.
* Monitor market trends, statutory changes, and emerging risks; recommend program adjustments and brief executive leadership.
* Recruit, mentor, and evaluate the insurance team; set KPIs and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:

* May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
* Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
* Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
* May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
* Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment

Work Environment:

* This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 4 days per week
* The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions.
* Limited travel may be required.
