The Vendor Fleet Manager position requires advanced vehicle repair and maintenance skills, management experience in an automotive dealership or fleet maintenance setting, a strong mechanical background, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:
* Develop RFP's in support of automotive services
* Check emails to verify and send out new list of preventative maintenance needed to meet metrics
* Verify time sheets are entered correctly
* Call vendors regarding the vehicles that are involved in accidents and vehicles that are having non-addressable work done
* Travel to vendors 2-3 times a week to inspect for any deviations in estimate for repairs. Find ways to cut cost in the repair estimate.
* Regular contact with client to resolve issues
* Travel to MSC locations and perform inspections on work that has been performed
* Guide and teach technicians ways to gain more productivity
* Assist the technicians with mechanical issues that require two people
* Verify all inventory is accurate
* Weekly team meetings
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in an automotive service or fleet maintenance setting
* Prior technician/mechanic experience
* Familiarity with key vehicle parts
* Ability to update and interact in fleet software program
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
* Proficient in MS(Excel, Word, and Outlook)
* Ability to follow instructions and complete required training
* Strong customer service, leadership and interpersonal skills
