Responsibilities: As our Vascular Access Nurse, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective vascular access care to patients. You will perform a variety of procedures, including peripheral intravenous (IV) catheter insertion, central venous catheter insertion, and US IV insertion. This opportunity can be combined with a full-time role within this unit. Apply today and discover why our employees love working here! * Assess patient needs and determine appropriate vascular access devices * responsible for the insertion of PICC (peripherally inserted central catheters) and midlines * responsible for the coordination of services as related to PICC lines and all CVAD (Central Venous Access Devices) * Educate patients and families on vascular access care * Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care Qualifications: Required: * Minimum five (5) years experience as an acute care RN * Registered Nurse (RN)license, * Basic Life Support (BLS) * Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC) Certification * ACLS Certification
