What started as a simple community hospital is today a state-of-the-art healthcare system with two acute care hospitals, a network of primary and specialty care clinics, outpatient health and wellness centers, cardiac diagnostic centers and outpatient medical imaging centers.

As our Vascular Access Nurse,  you will be responsible for providing safe and effective vascular access care to patients. You will perform a variety of procedures, including peripheral intravenous (IV) catheter insertion, central venous catheter insertion, and US IV insertion.

Responsibilities:

* Assess patient needs and determine appropriate vascular access devices
* responsible for the insertion of PICC (peripherally inserted central catheters) and midlines
* responsible for the coordination of services as related to PICC lines and all CVAD (Central Venous Access Devices) 
* Educate patients and families on vascular access care
* Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care

Qualifications:

Requirements:

Minimum five (5) years experience as an acute care RN 

* Registered Nurse (RN)license,
*  Basic Life Support (BLS)
* Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC) Certification 

Preferred:

* ACLS Certification
