Overview:
To provide assistance and services for guests, as well as the hotel, in order to ensure pleasurable accommodations.
Responsibilities:
* Assist guests with luggage as needed during check-in/check-out process.
* Knowledgeable about all hotel amenities.
* Efficiently and safely park and retrieve guests' vehicles.
* Properly "log" all runs in the valet log at the bell stand.
* Greet guests upon arrival and departure in a friendly and warm manner.
* Knowledge of local area attractions and directions.
* To fully understand and implement "Moment of Service" and "Power of Engagement".
* Accept other special tasks assigned by management and front Office staff.
* Shine shoes upon request.
* Responsible for a clean and neat appearance of uniform, wearing name tag.
* Assist in keeping the lobby and main drive clean and tidy.
* Other requests as directed by management.
Qualifications:
* Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
* Previous Valet/Bell Attendant experience preferred.
* Excellent grooming and body language to represent the brand.
* Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Ability to lift, push, and pull 100-150 lbs. frequently, and work standing entire shift.
* Must have a valid VA driver's license in good standing.
* Must be at least 21 years of age with an excellent driving record (less than 2 minor moving violations within the last three years).
* Must be able to take a successful drug test which is administered by the Hotel.
* Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
