Overview:
The Vice President, Corporate Insurance Operations provides executive leadership and strategic oversight of the health system's enterprise insurance programs and insurance operations. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and governing insurance and risk transfer strategies that protect organizational assets, support clinical and operational objectives, and ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and financial requirements. This position serves as the senior subject matter expert for insurance operations, claims governance, broker relationships, and enterprise risk financing.
Qualifications:
Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Graduate Degree, preferred. Master's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: 10 years +, required. Progressive leadership experience in corporate insurance, risk management, or related financial operations.
Additional Skills/Requirements (required):
* Extensive knowledge of corporate insurance programs, policy structures, and risk transfer strategies.
* Demonstrated experience managing broker and carrier relationships, renewals, and insurance placements.
* Strong understanding of claims management, coverage analysis, and loss trend evaluation.
* Ability to assess and mitigate enterprise risk exposure through insurance and alternative risk financing strategies.
* Excellent executive communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams
Additional Skills/Requirements (preferred):
* Experience within healthcare or similarly regulated industries.
* Familiarity with self-insurance, captive insurance programs, and alternative risk financing structures.
* Experience supporting board-level or executive risk reporting.
