Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities:
General Accountabilities:
* Observes, identifies, approaches, and solicits the casino guest whose business we would like to retain.
* Assists in ensuring accurate rating and monitoring of a guest's gaming activity.
* Assists the casino guest in obtaining a Players' Club card.
* Updates a guest's account with current information as necessary.
* Researches any guest inquiry, follows through, and communicates to guest with successful results.
* instructs all casino guests on the importance of using their Players' Club card.
* Utilizes the casino player tracking systems and other information sources to identify quality players and to follow up on results.
* Assists the casino guest with dinner and other reservations as needed.
* Arranges transportation for qualified casino guests when necessary.
* Locates and directs floor persons and cocktail staff to those guests requiring these services.
* Extends complimentaries to the casino guest, according to comp policy.
* Responsible for referring patrons to ViP events sponsored by the Casino Host department.
* Represents the Margaritaville Resort Casino in a professional and friendly manner with guests and co-workers.
* Participates in telemarketing and direct mail campaigns targeting guests for ViP event invitation, inactivity, and general customer maintenance.
* Maintains adequate communication with the Casino Marketing Manager regarding work-related activities, guest needs, and issues affecting the Host process.
* Communicates any problem to management using the chain of command in a timely manner.
* Communicates to management any unusual or extreme player patterns or activity.
* Completes other duties as assigned in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required;
* Minimum six (6) months of customer service experience required.
* Must be 21 years or older.
* Ability to stand, lift, walk, bend, and stoop throughout duration of shift.
* Must be able to obtain LA gaming license.
* Excels both independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
* Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
