Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Urology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We're all about well-being, starting with yours. Practice Highlights: * Full scope Urology practice * Inpatient, outpatient, and first assist opportunities * 18-25 patients per day in clinic * Four day work week Responsibilities: Summary: Provides quality healthcare in collaboration with other health care provides in an outpatient clinic/practice Responsibilities: * Performs history and physical assessments. * Manage acute and chronic conditions * Order, conduct and interpret appropriate diagnostic x-ray and lab tests * Involved in teaching and counseling individuals, families and groups * Performs minor surgical procedures. * Work autonomously as well as collaborate with other health care providers as needed. * Performs health maintenance activities. * Serve as health care resources, interdisciplinary consultants and patient advocate * Administers preventative health care methods. * Performs other functions as required. Credentials Required: For Nurse Practitioner - Masters degree in Nursing, New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license, federal and state DEA license and ANCC or AANP certification required. Minimum of one year experience preferred but not required For Physician Assistant - Baccalaureate prepared CAHEA Certified Physician Assistant or two (2) years working experience as a Certified Physician Assistant, and licensed by the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners required.
