Responsibilities:
As an Urgent Care Physician (MD or DO), you will join the thriving Dignity Health Medical Group - Dominican, playing a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in our Capitola, CA clinic.
You will provide comprehensive Urgent Care services to a diverse community, focusing on lower acuity cases and a variety of acute illnesses and minor trauma. You'll benefit from a supportive environment that values innovation, collaboration, and personal well-being.
To be successful in this role, you will be a compassionate and skilled Urgent Care Physician seeking a fulfilling career with exceptional work-life balance, practice autonomy, and minimal bureaucracy.
* Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse community, managing 20-35 patients per day.
* Perform procedures such as suturing and splinting for simple lacerations, sprains, strains, and minor trauma.
* Manage acute illnesses, including catheter care and IV fluid administration.
* 15 shifts per month (180 shifts per year) including 2 weekend shifts per month.

Qualifications:
Required
* Board-certified or Board-eligible MD or DO in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
* Active or eligible license in the state of California
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Preferred
* Spanish proficiency a plus
