Responsibilities:

How you'll make an impact in this role 

* Maintain, repair, and install hospital plumbing systems, including fixtures, fittings, drains, valves, backflow devices, and minor medical gas systems.

* Perform preventive maintenance and ensure all plumbing systems and equipment operate safely and efficiently in compliance with national, state, and local codes.

* Review and prioritize work orders; interpret blueprints and specifications; and estimate time, materials, and costs to complete assigned tasks.

* Manage inventory and procurement of materials, tools, and spare parts to support routine work and emergency repairs.

* Ensure proper system labeling, maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation, and complete work orders clearly and on time to support equipment history tracking.

* Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, safe tool usage, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

* Respond promptly to emergency service calls while delivering high-quality, cost-effective service and supporting patient safety and organizational goals.

Qualifications:

Education: 

* High School diploma or equivalent is required. Related trade school - preferred.
* Apprenticeship. 

License/Certification: 

* One or more of the following: Licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber - required. 

Experience: 

* Three to five years - required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

* Ability to work with power equipment.
* Ability to work with hazardous equipment.
