Responsibilities:

How you'll make an impact in this role 

* 
*  Installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, and ice-making systems, including performing scheduled preventive maintenance. 
*  Diagnoses and resolves equipment issues, completes repairs (minor to emergency), and ensures proper system operation using gauges, tools, and technical expertise. 
*  Monitors and adjusts system performance (e.g., refrigerant flow, temperatures), ensuring compliance with CAA 608 refrigerant handling and recovery standards. 
*  Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, and specifications to execute work, while following manufacturer guidelines and operational best practices. 
*  Maintains accurate records, work orders, and equipment history; manages inventory, requisitions supplies, and ensures proper care of tools and equipment. 
*  Supports team operations by prioritizing work orders, directing junior staff, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.

Qualifications:

Education:

* High School diploma or equivalent is required. Related trade school or equivalent training- required.

License/Certification:

* 608 EPA Certification Universal or Unlimited Refrigeration and Air Condition Service- required. 

Experience:

* Three to five years required- required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Ability to work with power equipment; ability to work with hazardous equipment.
