Overview:
Responsible for providing E&S Builders Risk underwriters with the information necessary to make sound underwriting decisions, including customer service and administrative support for underwriters and brokers from initial submission through policy issuance. Provides support within established performance standards and priorities, ensuring all activities align with the business unit's commitment to customer service.

Participates with underwriters in new business activities that support underwriting decisions consistent with growth and profitability goals
Partners with underwriters to identify and gather account information required to quote, bind, and issue policies
Manages account documentation and processing, including premium audits, endorsements, cancellations, and non-renewals
Handles policy maintenance and other midterm servicing requests; follows up on outstanding information
Develops and maintains strong relationships with brokers through regular communication; resolves issues as needed
Provides general administrative support and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree strongly preferred; equivalent work experience considered in lieu of a degree
Minimum of 1+ year of underwriting or related insurance experience is required
Builders Risk experience and/or basic understanding of property insurance concepts preferred
Strong interest in pursuing a career in the insurance industry
Skills/Competencies:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently
Ability to analyze, synthesize, and apply large volumes of information
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
