Responsibilities: As a Unarmed Security Officer - Access Control in Cromwell, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entrances, conduct patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do: * Control access to the location by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors, following site-specific policies and procedures. * Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity. * Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and vendors with directions and information as needed. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols. * Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter and report any security-related concerns or irregularities. * Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures. * Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs and/or emergencies specific to the food and beverage environment. Minimum Requirements: * A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
