One California Responsibilities: * Performs diagnostic medical sonographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. * Perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative. * Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team oriented environment * Demonstrates knowledge of Ultrasound procedures both diagnostic and interventional Qualifications: * More than one year experience in Abdomen or OB/GYN * Must be current with continuing education units required by the licensing board of the ARDMS * Must have a current CPR/BLS and ARDMS certification * Must be well versed in both general and cross sectional anatomy, as well as physiology * Preferred Qualifications: * Prefer venous Doppler, Color Doppler, Neurosonography and Interventional Procedures * ARDMS certified in physics and one other area, preferably abdomen or OB/Gyn preferred * Active member of a major diagnostic professional society preferred This position is represented by SEIU, Local UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
