What You Can Expect:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced OBGYN Sonographer to join our Women's Service Line (Ambulatory Clinics) as the Supervisor of Imaging Services. In this role, you will collaborate closely with operations managers in the Women's Clinic to oversee process standardization, quality improvement, and accreditation. You will also supervise and coordinate the activities of ultrasound personnel across all our WSL clinics that have embedded ultrasound services.

* Schedule: Monday - Friday 8-5
* No on call, holidays or weekends required!
* Gynecological and Fetal Scans 

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee and manage ultrasound (US) technologists, ensuring high-quality imaging services.
* Collaborate closely with the clinic manager to standardize processes across the system.
* Ensure effective utilization of US equipment and staff
* Drive quality improvement initiatives and educational programs.
* Maintain AIUM accreditation standards. 

Role Details:

* Primarily administrative with 1-2 days per month in a scanning or clinic role.
* Direct supervision of US technicians. 

Minimum Qualifications for this Role:

* Education: Bachelors' degree or experience in lieu of degree
* Experience: 2 years' relevant experience
* Licenses/Certifications: 
* Must have current registry in one medical imaging modality AND 
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Abdomen (RDMS-AB), Breast (RDMS-BR), OBGYN (RDMS-OBGYN) from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Sonography (ARRT-S) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Responsibilities:

The Supervisor Imaging Services is a working supervisor who supervises and coordinates activities of personnel in at least one diagnostic imaging department including computer assisted tomography (CT), mammography, interventional radiology (IR), nuclear medicine (NM), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ECHO, vascular, and ultrasound (US) (EXCLUDES RADIOLOGY)

* Provides day-to-day oversight of the unit/department(s) assigned. 

* Provides leadership, guidance, counseling, and continuing education to staff. Selects, develops, coaches, mentors, and assesses performance of staff. 

* Works with staff to promote resolution of conflicts and counsels staff when clinical practice standards are not met. 

* Assists with coordination of schedule to ensure adequate staffing levels. 

* Collaborates with all members of care provision team to share knowledge and plan for optimal outcomes.

* Serves as administrative authority for the smooth function of applicable modalities. 

* Exercises considerable judgment in applying professional knowledge in solving problems within established policies and practices. Serves as expert and resource to staff. 

* Coordinates quality initiatives and process improvements. 

* Assists with budget planning and clinical needs assessments. 

* Practice guidelines specific to ALARA policy (As Low As Reasonably Achievable). 

* Responsible for all accreditation requirements as applicable. 

* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelors' degree or experience in lieu of degree
* Experience: 2 years' relevant experience
