Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
As a Steampunk UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for developing intuitive and user-friendly designs, wireframes, and technical interfaces to bring technical solutions to life. You will drive adoptability and usability of the systems we develop and will employ design techniques that always put the users perspective first in the solution.
Detailed responsibilities include:
* Act as the lead designer for a variety of projects
* Create clear web and digital experiences for primarily government clients
* Work closely with both external clients and internal, cross-functional teams on projects that range from a few weeks to a few months in length
* Communicate with government stakeholders and decision-makers in compelling ways using a variety of visual mediums
Qualifications:
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design or related field
* Up to one year of experience delivering interface design solutions for various clients, including highly detailed annotated wireframes and user flows within complex web or mobile applications
* Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Rapid prototyping tools like Axure or Basalmiq
* Strong client communication skills
* Experience developing rapid prototypes and producing wireframes for user interfaces
* Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance
Bonus Points
* Previous work experience in or with the federal government
* Experience working within an Agile environment on a cross-functional team
* Ability to synthesize complicated information into digestible infographics, data visualizations, operational and workflow diagrams, and roadmaps
* Experience working on branding and/or marketing/communications projects
