Inteqna is looking to fill the position of a UX Designer/Project Manager. This is a one year contract. UX designer/Project Manager ROLE REQUIREMENTS * Two or more years of user experience design, and project management, experience in software and web applications which leverage emergent technologies and/or mobile devices. * Develop a detailed project plan to ensure resource availability and allocation, monitor and track team progress for the team, and manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. * Conduct multiple methods of primary and secondary user research including contextual inquiries, observation, card sorting, analysis, and other methods of user research that help define internal roadmap. * Translate business/functional requirements/use cases into flat and interactive wireframes, and site maps to present designs to business and technology partners to ensure all aspects of the system are represented and designed appropriately * Design native and non-native applications for mobile and tablet. * Lead contributor for strategic planning on UX integration in existing design pipelines * Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication ability, drawing skills and sketchbook technique * Ability to create wireframes as well as UX design comps * Experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Understanding of common software project management practices * Understanding of common software development practices * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office * Very good educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering * Proven working experience in project management in the information technology sector * Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies * Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills * Experience with UX software (Axure, Visio, Omnigraffle, iRise, or similar) * Experience with PM software (Clarizen, Liquid Planner, Wrike, etc.) ADDITIONAL * PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus. * 3D modeling, After Effects, rendering and animation * Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Rails, JavaScript/JQuery, ObjectiveC (iOS), C++ (Android) a plus * Motion graphics design and production * Video and sound editing * Bachelor's or Master's degree in interaction design, new media design or related design field Please apply online or send in your resume to HDSouza@inteqna.com Inteqna would like to thank all candidates for their interest in this opportunity.
