Responsibilities: * Responsible for the washing, drying, folding, ironing and storing of linens for the laundry. * Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards. * Sort, wash, dry, fold, iron and store linens according to established procedures. * Perform routine maintenance on the laundry equipment; includes cleaning dryer traps and greasing flat ironer. * Maintain production levels according to level of room occupancy. * Assist vendors who, as part of their service, perform inspections and tests of cleaning agents and operations. * Handle cleaning products in a safe manner. * Maintains daily worksheets. * Must be willing to work any shift. * Count & process reclaimed items. * Weigh & count all received linen. * Keep accurate counts of delivered and received linen counts from all receiving departments. * This is a uniformed position, which requires that team members are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty. Qualifications: * No formal education required. * One year experience as a washer/folder/sorter is helpful. * Knowledge of operating laundry equipment a plus.
