Job Title: Trusted Thin Client Lead
Location: Doha, Qatar
This position is pending contract award.
Responsibilities:
Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a Trusted Thin Client Lead to support the AFCENT Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) contract in Doha, Qatar.
The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Lead the system administration efforts for TTC server and client environments, ensuring secure and efficient operations.
* Act as the primary point of contact for the TTC system, providing technical guidance and leadership to team members.
* Develop and implement processes for proactive monitoring, maintenance, and issue resolution to enhance system performance and reliability.
* Perform administrative tasks involving TTC server and client hardware, software, applications, and configurations.
* Ensure the Trusted Thin Client system is operating efficiently and securely, contributing directly to mission-critical operations.
* Implement network security protocols and enforce cybersecurity best practices to safeguard sensitive information.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing immediate and sustainable solutions for the TTC system.
* Manage a 24/7 operational environment that provides on-call support as needed and coordinating responses to incidents and maintenance needs
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive collaboration and integration of TTC systems across broader operational initiatives.
* Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise, fostering a learning environment, and providing performance feedback.
* Develop training programs and documentation for both internal team members and end users, ensuring consistency in system understanding and usage.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels to provide updates, resolve issues, and drive system improvements.
* Global travel up to 10%.
Qualifications:
* Active, in-scope US Government issued Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
* Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
* Regulation Requirement: Due to Qatar's immigration and labor regulations, Qatar work visas cannot be issued to individuals aged 60 or over, and are not subject to a waiver. Additionally, foreign nationals aged 60 or older are unable to renew their Qatari visa or change sponsors. Therefore, per Qatar work visa regulations, candidates must be 59 years of age or younger to be eligible for a Qatari work visa as required for this position.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in supervising personnel.
* DoDM 8140 IAT Level 2 (Security+) or higher; and Citrix Certified Professional‐Virtualization (CCP‐V) or Citrix Certified Professional‐Networking (CCP‐N), or equivalent certification.
