Immediate opening for a Dedicated Regional Class A CDL Truck Driver in Springfield, OR and we want the right Driver to join us at Ryder.

* Average $1500 or more per week
* Average Work Week 35 - 60 Hours
* Miles Pay: $0.63 per Mile with 1600 Miles Per Week All Miles Paid
* Doubles Miles Pay: $0.65 Mile
* Stops Pay: $23.00 per Stop with 12 Stops per Week
* Deliver to: OR, WA, ID and MT
* Per Diem Pay: $27.00 per night 2 - 3 nights per Week
* Sign-on Bonus to be paid out within 90 days
* Paid Training 
* Paid Time Off Starts DAY ONE - 80 hours accrued in 1st year
* Comprehensive Health Benefits start at 30 Days
* Freight: Touch - Hardware Retail Deliveries

Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician  

* Trailer Type: 24', 31', 40', 48' and 53' Dry Van
* New Sleeper Tractors with Refrigerators
* Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
* Equipment: Manual Pallet Jack
* Endorsements: Hazmat - Within 90 Days of Hire
* We Reimburse Cost to Obtain Endorsements and Provide Training

Responsibilities:

* Minimum 21 years of age
* Pass a Ryder Drug Test
* Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
* Pass a DOT physical
* Pass a Ryder road test
* Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
* Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
* 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
* 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
* 5 years' experience within the last 10 years

* Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
* Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note:  Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Qualifications:

* Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
* Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
* Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
* Performs other duties as assigned
