* $1615+ Weekly Average, Driver Positions Pay Weekly
* $1250/wk min guarantee for 5 days worked 
* Hourly Pay: $27.00 Per Hour
* Regional within 300-mile radius of your house, Needs reliable vehicle
* Overtime Paid After 40 hours 
* $500 Sign-on Bonus: $250 paid at 30 days + $250 paid at 90 days.
* NST Tenure bonus $1000 each year when actively employed from Nov 1st - Oct 31st . 
* Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel OR Sleeper, Per Diem Pay: $50 per night
* Schedule: Monday - Friday - Must be Flexible.
* Hours per Week: 50 + hours average per week
* Deliver To: NE and New England region 
* Trailer Type: Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed 
* Freight: Touch/No Touch - Varies by Account 
* Comprehensive Benefits start 30 days after hire
* Paid Time Off Starts at Day 1- 80 hours accrued in 1st year

Trucks are three years or newer. Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities. 

* Tractor Type: Day Cabs and Sleepers 
* Trailer Type: 48' - 53' Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, Conestoga and Curtainside 
* Cannot accept Auto Restriction
* 3 months Flatbed experience required
* Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
* Equipment: Manual Pallet Jacks, Rollers, Lift Gates and Moffett 
* Load Securement: Strapping, Tarping and Chaining

The starting salary for this position is $65,000. Employees may also be eligible for a Shift Differential

Responsibilities:

* Minimum 21 years of age
* Pass a Ryder Drug Test
* Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
* Pass a DOT physical
* Pass a Ryder road test
* Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
* Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
* 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
* 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
* 5 years' experience within the last 10 years

* Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
* Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note:  Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Qualifications:

* Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
* Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
* Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
* Performs other duties as assigned
