Overview:
Medpace is a full-service clinical contract research organization (CRO). We provide Phase I-IV clinical development services to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Responsibilities:
* Assist with managing cash balances by analyzing current cash position and forecasting cash flows for assigned global entities
* Complete daily posting of banking activity in the accounting system and perform daily/weekly/monthly bank reconciliations;
* Assist with payment processing and bank account journals for assigned global entities via wire and ACH
* Maintain and control global vendor data within the accounting system, including processing new vendor request and changes to existing vendors (e.g. new banking information, name/address changes, etc.);
* Assist with accounts receivable monitoring and collections processes with both cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. Commercial Operations, Legal) and Sponsors;
* Support ongoing compliance requirements related to Medpace's domestic and global operating model (e.g., FATCA, OFAC, etc.);
* Maintain effective controls to ensure compliance with SOX requirements. Assist with requests and inquiries from the internal and external audit team;
* Develop knowledge of appropriate Medpace Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines; and
* May be responsible for other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Associate's degree and prior work experience preferred;
* General knowledge of accounting and treasury principles and processes;
* Demonstrates a strong attention to detail with excellent organization and time management skills;
* Support management in ongoing compliance requirements related to Medpace's domestic and global operating model (e.g., FATCA, OFAC, etc.);
* Help plan and perform analyses of cash management activities
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple assignments simultaneously in an accurate and on a timely basis; and
* Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft(r) applications, especially Excel.
