				Overview:

The Travel Program Owner creates and maintains global business travel strategy, priorities, and goals. They contribute to the development of business travel and expense policies and processes in coordination with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Security, Internal Audit, and Legal. The main objective for the Travel Program Owner is to ensure the smooth execution of all aspects of Zebra's travel and expense program which will include, but not limited to, the following:

* Communication of new services, tools, and policies
* Training sessions
* Travel system escalations
* Reporting
* Policy exceptions
* Program audits

This position requires hybrid work in the Lincolnshire, IL location. 

Responsibilities:

* Leading and monitoring the Company's corporate travel and expense programs, including preferred travel vendors, travel management companies, expense management partners, and company credit card programs
* Deliver timely reporting of travel metrics and spend
* Enforcement of the policies and procedures for global corporate travel and expenses
* Manage day-to-day operations of the travel program, including working with travel security platform and update and maintain a travel information page on the company intranet site
* Establish and maintain proven business relationships with preferred travel providers
* Deliver reporting and analysis to support executives and finance teams in managing travel and expense budgets and achieving goals
* Propose and implement internal travel strategy, programs, and rules (travel policy) to manage the travel spend, in accordance with the objectives set by general management in terms of cost and level of service
* Participate in the drafting of internal procedures aimed at streamlining and controlling processes within the Travel and Expense space
* Contribute to the drafting of internal notes in coordination with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Security, Internal Audit, and Legal (intranet, emailing, etc.) to communicate practical information (i.e. list of preferred providers, travel agency contacts, best practices)

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

* High School Diploma required, college degree strongly preferred
* Minimum of 8+ years work experience in the business travel industry, corporate travel operations, hotel industry, or travel technology area required

Preferred Qualifications:

* Specific knowledge of the business travel market to manage relationships with travel management companies and other travel providers such as airlines, railways, hotels, car rentals, car services, and financial institutions
* Ability to build, update, and monitor Power BI dashboards
* Ability to implement new tools to automate business management procedures
* Knowledge of Navan highly desired
