Responsibilities:

Per Diem Trauma Surgeon opportunity available at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma.   

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Per Diem board certified Trauma Surgeon to practice at our award winning St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. St. Joseph is a 385 bed Level II Trauma Center and serves as the flagship tertiary trauma care facility. Average shift is 12 hours and includes nights/weekends.  

This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity for a dedicated Trauma Surgeon to join our dynamic team.  The surgeon will be fully supported by a skilled and collaborative team, including two dedicated physician assistants who will work in tandem to optimize efficiency and extend the reach of care. This collaborative model fosters a supportive environment, allowing the surgeon to focus on complex cases and critical decision-making, while the physician assistants provide essential assistance with patient management, pre- and post-operative care, and routine follow-ups. The integrated approach of this position underscores our commitment to providing seamless and exemplary orthopedic trauma services.

Compensation:

* Compensation: 343.28 per hour. 

*The posted compensation is a reasonable estimation in which CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Qualifications:

* Active Washington License and DEA in good standing
* 2 or more years experience working with Trauma Services at a regional medical center.
* ABS Board Certified
