Responsibilities:

All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization. The person doing this job is responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction in the most cost-effective manner. The FNP operates as a patient care clinician and a clinical staff supervisor. This position provides individualized care, focusing on family medicine and preventive health care. He/she oversees and supervises all clinical staff functions including planning, organizing, delegating and controlling the activities of the clinic under the supervision of the Clinic Manager. 

Qualifications:

* A minimum of two years experience as PNP. 
* Experience in working with the critically ill child in inpatient setting preferred. 
* The work experience shall demonstrate maturity and leadership abilities. 
* Current BCLS and PALS certification and Los Angeles County Fire Card required. 
* Demonstrates computer and computer peripheral equipment skills. 
* Clinically competent in patient care delivery and skilled in use of medical supplies and equipment. A
* ble to utilize telephone, fax and copier machines. 
* May answer pages, carry a beeper/pager, and/or use a two-way radio. 
* Local travel may be required. 
* Nurse Practitioner licensure; a graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current licensure by Board of Registered Nursing, State of California.
