Transportation Supervisor

				Overview:

***This position will be physically located in Qatar in support of LOGCAP***

Under direction of the Transportation Manager, the Transportation Supervisor will assist Transportation Manager with all Transportation functions in direct support of LOGCAP V/Department of State-DoS as it applies to the Performance Work Statement, Technical Data Package-TDP, Work Instructions-WI's, Standard Operating Procedures-SOP's; Statements of Work-SoW, and all Safety requirements.

Specific daily activities include but not limited to: All Transportation functions assigned by Transportation Manager and V2X. Priority is Material Handling Equipment-MHE, Roads and Grounds requirement(s), Movement Control, Transportation Movement Request-TMR and oversight of shuttle service(s) on and off Care Doha in absence of Transportation Manager.

Will serve point of contact to assist customers of V2X as required in absence of Transportation Manager. Will collaborate with Transportation Manager daily to manage and establish milestones, monitor adherence to plans, schedules, work orders, identify operational problems, develops, and executes solutions, allocates and schedules resources needed to facilitate daily mission. Will provide operational guidance, direction, and purpose ensuring strict compliance to PWS, WI's, SOP's, and Safety guidelines mandated and as applies by V2X. Will ensure subcontractors are trained, qualified, and certified as needed to perform contractual requirements in an efficient, safe, and cost-effective manner.  #LI-TM1 

Responsibilities:

* Provides cost, schedule, and technical performance guidance ensuring successful completion of requirements.
* Coordinates assigned personnel and with Transportation Manager to resolve Transportation related issues.
* Supervise and directs work priorities and monitoring of methods, procedures, and programs.
* Collaborates with stakeholders ensuring strong partnerships with customers, peers, and other stakeholders as required.
* Supervises and coordinates all activities connected to equipment and personnel.
* Supervises associated subcontractors to ensure contract compliance.
* Supervises, directs programming and forecasting of materials associated with work orders, Material handling equipment, Roads and Grounds needs until the delivery to final customer through the best asset scheme in terms of Cost, Lead-time & Quality.
* Ensures all subcontractors, are trained, qualified, and certified as needed to perform the requirements of the contract in an efficient, safe and cost-effective manner under the requirements specified in individual sections of the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
* Performs other duties and assignments as required.

Qualifications:

* Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:
* Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
* High School Diploma.
* Associates/Bachelors is preferred.
* Must have current U.S. Drivers License.
* Must possess a Secret Security Clearance.

* Experience:
* One (1) to three (3) years' of supervisory experience.
* Should have excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient in the use Microsoft Office products (i.e. Power Point, Word, Excel).
* Administrative and customer service training and experience a must. Hazmat qualified

* Skills:
* Previous Transportation experience in DoD

* Working Conditions:
* The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.
* Must be capable of working in an extreme weather condition with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Work Week: 48 hours (6 days @ 8 hours a day) is the standard work week. 

* Physical Requirements:
* Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
* Must be able to lift/push/pull 45-50 lbs.
