Senior Outside Transportation Sales Representative - Trucking and Logistics - Refrigerated Are you a hunter and have strong, established business relationships within the trucking and logistics industry? Talentcor Professional is recruiting for an Outside SALES REPRESENTATIVE for an established trucking company in the GTA building LH and LTL cross boarder business. The ideal candidate must have Refrigeration experience. This position will be responsible for uncovering and securing new business, managing existing customers and developing ongoing, profitable relationships with all customers. This individual will project a confident and professional image for the customer. To be successful in the role the individual must be comfortable to work both independently and as a team. Applicants should have 5-10 years transportation and sales experience which demonstrates an ability to 'grow the business' and to seek creative solutions to transportation issues. Individuals with experience and knowledge related to the transportation industry including shipping, trucking, refrigeration, cartage, warehousing, distribution and logistics preferred. The successful applicant must be self-motivated and have above average organizational, customer service and negotiation skills. On a daily basis, you will be required to input all sales activities/contacts into the computer system for tracking and reporting purposes. In addition, you will have an excellent command of the English language (oral and written), be a self-disciplined team player, the ability to travel within the region, be goal oriented and have at least intermediate excel skills Excellent base salary.
