Responsibilities:

 As a Transportation Airport Security: Patrol Officer in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

 Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

* 18+ Years of Age
* Valid Drivers License
* Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
* Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, roadways, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
* Monitor access points, restricted areas, and credential requirements to help support authorized entry and report suspicious persons, vehicles, and/or behavior.
* Assist with traffic flow, crowd management, and general direction for the public during routine operations, special events, delays, and/or emergency situations.

 Minimum Requirements:

* Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
