Overview: Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Trailer Mechanic/Technician! Our Trailer Mechanics repair and maintenance heavy-duty Class 7-8 trailers to ensure a safe and efficient operation (including Air Brakes, 90 BIT & DOT Inspections and Repairs on Class 7-8 Trailers). Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! *Potential Sign On Bonus, up to $5,000* Shift: Mon-Thurs 2:00pm - 10:30pm & Sunday 7:00am - 3:30pm What's in it for you? Responsibilities: What the Trailer Mechanic/Technician role looks like: * Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to heavy-duty Class 7 - 8 trailers, dollies, and switchers * Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to Class 7-8 Trailers * Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures * Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance Qualifications: What our ideal candidate looks like: * At least 1-3 years experience as a Trailer Mechanic/Technician performing vehicle repair and maintenance or must possess an auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school. * Excellent communication skills and proficient computer skills * Must have a valid driver's license Are you ready to advance your career as a Trailer Mechanic/Technician with Amerit Fleet Solutions?
