Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities:

* Ensuring the operating excellence of Race track surface
* Uphold standards and practices that support the comprehensive safety and integrity of horseracing
* Operating and maintaining all equipment/tools/materials necessary to prepare surface for training and racing
* Complying with company, local, state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

* Must be 21 years of age
* Must be able to operate and maintain equipment (tractors, loaders, graders, etc)
* Must have a high school diploma or equivalent 
* Must have 1-2 years previous track maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities
* Must have knowledge of OSHA required standards and safety requirements
* Read, write legibly, understand and speak English
* Must be licensed with Ohio Racing Commission 
* Excellent communication skills
* Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
* Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
* Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
* Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 75 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
* Be able to perform duties in all weather
