Compensation: $24.00/hour Responsibilities: The incumbent will regularly perform the following tasks: * Adhere to Tool Room schedule and report to the tool room supervisor * Run Wire EDM Machines, including job and workpiece setup * Run CNC machines, including job and workpiece setup * Log work and hours performed * Maintain EDM and CNC machines to ensure good working order * Basic machining (e.g. surface grinding, lathe work) * Ability to read technical prints, including understanding of GD&T * Metrology * Maintain and verify Tool Crib Inventory * Place purchase requisitions for the tool room * Heat treatment of tool steels * Follow safety regulations and requirements * Basic housekeeping * Support the tool room Less frequently, the incumbent will perform other duties as required that may include: Calling vendors for support on machines Qualifications: Required Qualifications * Machining * Metrology * Ability to read technical drawings and schematics * Wire EDM Machine Operation and Basic Maintenance * CNC Machine Operation and Basic Maintenance * Heat Treatment * Basic Math Preferred Skills * Microsoft Word and Excel * CAD/CAM * ERP * Experience with Agie Charmilles Cut20 and VP2 Machines Additional Notes Zierick will provide training and training opportunities to the incumbent to fulfill the job description.
