Overview: POSITION SUMMARY: Therapeutic Recreational Therapist is primarily responsible for planning, developing, implementing and maintaining a recreational therapy program for the Behavioral Healthcare department. The program will include recreational, occupational and other creative therapies. Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation therapy Licensure/ Certification: American Heart Association CPR certification within 90 days of hire Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Master's degree in therapeutic recreation therapy Experience: Previous work experience as a Therapeutic Recreation Therapist Licensure/ Certification: National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
