Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Manufacturing Test Strategy & Execution

a. Define, develop, and implement product manufacturing test strategies to ensure products meet committed specifications.
b. Design and develop test suites, test programs, and test processes aligned with manufacturing and quality objectives.
c. Execute calibration and functional tests for production, ensuring consistency and traceability.

2. New Product Introduction (NPI)
a. Test development and qualification
b. Develop test methodologies for prototypes and manage transition to full production.

3. Production Support & Continuous Improvement
a. Improve test yield, reduce test time, and drive efficiency improvements.
b. Support downtime reduction and optimize tester capacity through upgrades, standardization, and preventive maintenance.
c. Restore tester‑down situations with minimal impact to Assurance of Supply (AOS).

4. Test System Development & Maintenance
a. Develop and maintain test systems, test fixtures, and test software across the entire product lifecycle.
b. Ensure test platforms comply with ISO standards, including documentation and traceability.

5. Data Analysis & Reporting
a. Analyze test data, trending, and performance metrics to support capacity planning and process optimization.
b. Provide detailed test reports with recommendations.

6. Software/Automation/Modernization
a. Develop and maintain test automation scripts (C/C++, Python, VB, C#, etc.).
b. Implement automated test strategies to reduce manual testing and improve consistency.
c. Support test system modernization, obsolescence management, and lifecycle continuity.

Qualifications:

* Master or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field.
* Knowledge in utilizing test measurement equipment; spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, signal generator, network analyzer, power supply, digital counter, function generator. 
* Knowledge in C/C++, Python, VB, C#, etc.
* Experience in working with supplier, and CM.
* Experience in using quality tools; 5-Why analysis, Cpk analysis, 8D report, Poka Yoke, Six Sigma, LEAN.
