Responsibilities:
Intern Responsibilities - Test Software Automation
* Automate Data Entry Processes
* Develop scripts or tools to automate the transfer of test results from systems and handlers into the MARS platform.
* Ensure data accuracy and integrity during automation.
* Collaborate with Test Engineering Teams
* Work closely with test engineers to understand current manual workflows and identify automation opportunities.
* Participate in regular syncs to gather feedback and refine automation tools.
* Support Software-Driven Initiatives
* Extend automation solutions to other related software systems beyond MARS.
* Assist in integrating automation into broader operational processes.
* Documentation & Reporting
* Maintain clear documentation of automation scripts, workflows, and implementation steps.
* Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and impact metrics.
* Testing & Validation
* Conduct thorough testing of automation tools to ensure reliability and robustness.
* Validate output accuracy against manual entries.
* Continuous Improvement
* Propose enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
* Stay updated with relevant tools and technologies that can support automation efforts.
Qualifications:
Intern Qualifications - Test Software Automation
* Educational Background
* Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Technical Skills
* Proficiency in Python, C#, or other scripting languages used in automation.
* Familiarity with data handling, API integration, or database operations.
* Basic understanding of test systems, handlers, or manufacturing software platforms (e.g., MARS).
* Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities
* Strong logical thinking and attention to detail.
* Ability to identify inefficiencies and propose automation solutions.
* Communication & Collaboration
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and engaging with engineers and operators.
* Self-Motivation & Learning Attitude
* Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Bonus Skills (Preferred but not required)
* Experience with automation frameworks or test data analysis.
* Exposure to manufacturing environments or production line systems.
