The role of Territory Manager would cover the new business development and account management for their assigned district working from a home based office, reporting to the Sales Manager for Canada. Responsibilities: * Build a network of grain farmers in the assigned territory who are VRT capable * Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and leveraging existing relationships * Participate in community events that would be beneficial for developing relationships in assigned territory * Educate potential customers on the company's technology and advise as to how it can be beneficial for their farming business * Develop and implement an annual business plan in relation to the assigned territory and sales forecasts * Prepare an annual marketing / promotional budget and plan to further expand the company's presence to new potential customers * Record and track sales activity and contacts with the company's CRM software (Salesforce) * Manage client relationships and ensure payment is received * Handle customer complaints in a timely fashion and ensure the issues is resolved and the customer is fully satisfied with the solution Qualifications: * Knowledge and experience with Precision Agronomics * -Existing relationships with grain farmers in the assigned territory that are VRT capable * 1-5 years of Sales experience * Knowledge of the agriculture with either practical farming experience or an education in Agriculture * Able to work in a mobile environment with frequent cold calling and new business development efforts * Excellent communication, both oral and written * Able to work independently with little supervision while managing a territory of clients * Willingness to constantly learn and adapt to the forever changing Precision Agronomics industry * Proficient computer skills, experience with Microsoft software and Salesforce considered an asset * A valid class 5 drivers license with a clean drivers abstract is mandatory as this position requires frequent travel, occasionally in areas with treacherous road conditions We would like to thank all candidates for expressing interest in this position, however due to the high volume of applications we receive only candidates who are being considered for interviews will be contacted.
